Young Achiever of the Year Award 2016
In cooperation with our sponsors Idex Consulting Ltd (specialist recruiters to the general insurance and financial services sectors) we are beginning our search for the Young Achiever of the Year 2016.
This prestigious annual award recognises the efforts of high achieving individuals who have demonstrated exceptional performance, achievement and attitude in all aspects of their professional life.
Employers in the area are invited to nominate up to three people within their own Company to be considered by a panel as worthy of being selected for the one of the top three places from whom the overall winner will be chosen.
Candidates, who do not have to be CII Members, must be under the age of 35 as at 1 January 2016 and working in insurance/financial services.
The individual sponsor must submit the candidates personal details with the nomination form saying why, in relation to the criteria, the person is worthy of consideration by the panel.
The full set of nominations will be adjudicated by the IIRTW Committee, and the assessment of an individuals achievement must relate to three general principles:
- Someone who is doing a good job
- An individual who is making good progress in their career.
- An individual who is contributing something to the wider insurance market in the local institute’s area.
To allow sufficient time for the panel to review all nominations, completed nomination forms should be submitted before the closing date of Friday 12th February 2016.
Up to 5 selected finalists will be invited to the Annual Dinner on Friday 18th March 2016 as guests of IDEX Consulting LTD, where the winner will then be announced, and presented with the Young Achiever of the Year trophy and a prize of £250.
Criteria - some examples of the Key Performance Indicators against which individuals can be measured are as follows:
-

-
achievement of a Diploma level CII qualification perhaps with a National prize or a Distinction
-
achievement of a Diploma level CII qualification within an especially short timescale
