Intl Men's Day - Session 4 - Men's Mental Health in 2023 (Panel Discussion)
The charity Mind states that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England and over 191,000 men in England on average report stress, depression or anxiety made worse by work each year.
With the financial services industry employing around 570,000 men, isn’t it time we started to talk more openly about our mental health?
In this panel discussion with industry professionals from across the local financial services industry, we will delve into the world of men’s mental health, how our speakers have recognised the signs of poor mental health and what they do to protect their mental health.
Protecting your mental health isn’t all about seeking a therapist, there are many things we can do to actively effect change on poor mental health, so come and listen as these men share stories of how they have helped their mental health and what they continue to do to protect it.
Please note that there may be topics discussed which could be triggering as panel members discuss their own experiences. As such, the session will not be recorded.
