This presentation is from an experienced and still trading Underwriter and is aimed at both Brokers and Execs. You will learn about market appetites for storage, compare covers and understand when a Clause might not be suitable. You will learn about chartering vessels, difficult countries, Incoterms and finally you will be invited to discuss hot topics which can impact transit risks such as interest rate changes, protectionism, current war risks, and the energy transition.

Speaker Biography

This Presentation is from experienced Cargo Underwriter Lance Carter. Lance has enjoyed circa 30 years in our industry, and 20+ of those within marine and transit insurance. Having worked for several Marine insurers he now works for well respected and award Winning Underwriters NMU (Munich Re) where he enjoys writing new business and looking after businesses ranging from multi billion international household names, to SMEs and charities.
