Examination Prize-winners

Each year, the Insurance Institute of Leicester awards a prize for the best performance at Advanced Diploma and at the Diploma. Our President, Florence Dennis Dip CII has announced this year’s prize-winners. They are:

Best performance at Advanced Diploma (Associateship) – Adam Williams of AIG. Adam joined the CII whilst still a student at Loughborough University. En route to his Associateship, he passed five subjects with distinction, a feat that has led to him also being awarded a national prize – the Henry J. Tapscott Prize for Excellence in completion of the Advanced Diploma in Insurance. Adam receives £500 and the Papworth Plate from the Insurance Institute of Leicester plus £250 from the CII for his national prize.

Best performance at Diploma – Kirsty Hardman, now of law firm Nelsons and previously with Mattioli Woods. Kirsty receives £250 and the Mowatt Plate.

In addition, we award a cheque of £200 to every new Fellow. This year we have one new Fellow:

Evan Roberts of Roberts Wealth Management will receive a cheque and hold the Mellor Plate.

Congratulations to all. Because of continuing uncertainties surrounding events this Autumn, we are again not holding our traditional Annual Dinner at which prizes would have been presented. Instead, the winners are being invited to our alternative Cheese & Wine evening on 29 October at the Leicester Marriott – tickets still available.
