Mattioli Woods Triumph in Music Quiz Challenge

The Institute’s Annual Music Quiz took place at the University of Leicester on Thursday 21 March. The event was kindly sponsored by RSA.

20 teams took part representing a cross-section of firms from across the industry (GI Insurers and Brokers, PFS advisers, Recruitment Agencies and Service Providers). This is always a popular event, and veteran Quiz Designer and Quiz Master, Mal Fairhurst, did not disappoint, delivering a remarkably testing range of rounds, covering different decades, genres and topics (including rounds on 60’s and 70’s music, Dance Music, Classical and Jazz and stuff that’s “hot” today).

After an epic battle, the quiz entered the final round with 6 teams in with a chance. In the end, the Runner’s Up were a team from Aspects Insurance Recruitment, while the Winners, who took home the spectacular Killarney Crystal and marble trophy, were a team from Mattioli Woods, led by their Captain, Daniel Foulkes.
