BHIB Triumph in Music Quiz Challenge

14 teams took part, and veteran Quiz Designer and Quiz Master, Mal Fairhurst, did not disappoint, delivering a remarkably testing range of rounds, covering different decades, genres and topics (from a “Rock ’n Roll Jukebox” round to a 21’st Century music round). There was also a Picture Board round and a Pointless round.

After an epic battle, the quiz entered the final round with 5 teams in with a chance. In the end, the Runner’s Up were last year’s winners from Mattioli Woods, while the Winners, who took home the new Quiz Shield, were a team from BHIB Insurance, led by their stand-in Captain, Brian Brookes.

Ironically, BHIB’s other team came last and went home with the wooden spoons!

A raffle in aid of Insurance Charities raised £70.

Thanks go to support administrators, Deb Southwick and Bruce Teago, who worked hard throughout the evening to ensure the programme met the timescale planned.
