As part of the insurance industry you will all be familiar with the importance of your terms and conditions in relation to your regulated activities. Compliance is part of your everyday life and you manage and follow the processes day in day out without even thinking.
However if you are part of an insurance broker business then you need to take a step back and think about other forms of day to day risk which you may not be managing as well.
Operating any kind of business encompasses numerous areas of law and a wider knowledge will improve both your own risk management and be able to better sell your own products to your owner managed business clients.

Speaker profile
Lorna Bennett is a solicitor at Glaisyers Solicitors LLP. She advises a wide range of owner managed businesses large and small across a diverse range of business sectors including retail, transport, engineering, IT and education in relation to their commercial and corporate needs.
She is known for her, down to earth, common sense approach, recognising the need to provide clients with quick, commercial, practical advice.
