Writing CII assignments for General Insurance
Alan will explain how to best construct an exam answer for the Diploma and ACII coursework in order to delight the examiner. The session will show delegates how they can make their coursework examples and answers relevant to the question being asked. Alan will also explore how to reference along with learning how to differentiate between the key words of explain, analyse and recommend so that you can make best use of you word count. There will be an opportunity to ask Alan on all things ACII.

This intensive revision session is designed to help you develop your exam technique and knowledge for the M92 Insurance Business and Finance module. Led by one of the UK's foremost insurance trainers, Alan Chandler, the syllabus will be explained in plain English with practical examples. The session, heavily subsidised by the local Institute, will not only cover the main areas of the syllabus but also what the examiner looks for in respect of both multiple choice and coursework, as well as an interactive opportunity to ask Alan about any areas of the syllabus where candidates are stuck. It does not matter where you are in your M92 journey, Alan will make it appropriate for you.

The course will look at the best exam techniques to use to pass IF1. It will explore the different types of risk, the U.K. market place, the six insurance principles of insurable interest, duty not to misrepresent/ fair presentation of risk, indemnity, proximate cause, subrogation and contribution and the legal and regulatory aspects of insurance. This course, paid for in full by the local Institute, will be delivered by Alan Chandler, Chartered Insurer who has taken thousands of people from nothing to fully ACII qualified, including training many national prize winners, so you will be getting the best possible help to pass IF1.
