Yoga Nidra
Join us for the latest instalment in our wellbeing programme - an early morning Yoga Nidra class in association with Well with Samantha.
Yoga Nidra, known as yogic sleep, is a form of guided meditation which promotes deep relaxation of the mind and body. Traditionally practiced lying down, Yoga Nidra involves slowing down to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.
This form of yoga is designed to relieve anxiety, soothe stress, and promote feelings of calm.
So, roll out your mat, lie down, and get comfortable as Samantha guides you through a 45-minute practice which will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated as you start your day.
You will need the following:
- A laptop or screen large enough to see Samantha
- A yoga mat or towel/blanket
- Pillows
- A blanket
- A clear space to practice, free of obstacles and (if possible!) interruptions
- A bottle of water
- Clothes suitable for yoga
Give yourself plenty of time to set up, log on and get comfortable before the class starts.
