Strengthening your resilience as we return to a ‘new normal’
The Young Members' Committee, The Next Generation Insurance Network (NGIN), The Insurance Disability, Ability & Wellbeing Network (iDawn) and The New Normal Charity during Mental Health Week (10 – 16 May 2021) joined forces for a panel discussion about building resilience.
As we begin to face the reality of lockdown restrictions easing and returning to ‘normality’, this webinar aimed to equip you with the tools to manage anxious thoughts about the return to the workplace and the transition out of lockdown.
This open forum webinar brought together a panel of speakers to discuss a wide range of topics including COVID-19 and lockdown, but also wider mental health and resilience.
By the end of this webinar, members will have gained an insight into:
- How young professionals can raise the profile of mental health awareness within their organisation
- How individuals and organisations can support each other
- Benefits to employees and employers that invest in a clear mental health strategy
- What can be done to change and improve the current mental health landscape
This webinar was aimed at the IIL’s young members’ and will be suitable for brokers, claims professionals, underwriters, financial advisers, loss adjusters and student members.

Jack Baxter, Co-Founder, The New Normal Charity
