Your personal finances - an introduction
This was the first in a series of financial webinars arranged by our Young Members’ Committee. In this session, Angela Lloyd-Read, Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, introduced members to the world of financial planning through the lens of their own personal finances.
In this webinar, Angela explained how to get help with budgeting and debt and discuss the link between risk and reward in savings and investments.
By the end of this webinar members will have gained an insight into:
- Pensions, how to make the most of employer pension provision, are you still in the default fund?
- Government initiatives to assist with property purchase
- Wills and lasting power of attorney
Please note, this session was not being recorded so a webinar playback is not available for members who did not attend the live event.
