RADA 'How to stand out in the virtual world' masterclass
The Insurance Institute of London (IIL) teamed up with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to offer a one hour virtual masterclass, followed by optional networking, to help members stand out in the virtual world.
For many of us, communicating across virtual media is now a fundamental part of our everyday working life. However, how do we land our messages on a virtual stage and ensure we have as much impact through a screen as we do in person?
This interactive, fast-paced masterclass examined the skills needed to maintain the appropriate level of engagement, credibility and impact in virtual meetings. It highlighted the essential techniques to stand out and the common pitfalls to avoid – enabling you to have as effective and powerful an interaction with your given audience as possible.
By the end of this webinar, members will have gained an insight into:
- Setting up their Virtual Space: checklist
- The importance of physical and vocal presence in virtual meetings
- Gesture and physicality for virtual meetings: visibility and symmetry
- Camera/microphone technique to increase speaker impact – intensity, pace, modulation, articulation, volume and eye contact choices
Agenda:
- 1pm Masterclass starts
- 2pm Masterclass ends
- 2pm – 2.30pm Optional networking
