RADA 'Hold Your Space' masterclass
All proceeds from this workshop will be donated to Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD)
The Insurance Institute of London (IIL) has teamed up with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to offer a three hour workshop for women to boost their communication skills, develop commanding presence and supreme confidence.
We know that we still have work to do as a profession to improve our gender balance - particularly at more senior levels.
This workshop is intended to help women to find their own unique presence and style. Participants will be introduced to strategies that will help them communicate with greater authority, authenticity and impact. They will learn tools and techniques to hold their space in a room, find their voice and be heard, so that when they speak, others listen.
This three hour masterclass aims to give each participant an insight into the impact of their behaviours on others and provide practical tips and takeaways, that participants can apply straight away in the workplace.
By the end of this masterclass, members will have:
- Tools and techniques to communicate with greater authority, presence and credibility
- Created a powerful vocal presence
- Learned how to hold their space and come across with impact
- Discovered new strategies for influencing others and changing behaviours
The workshop will be followed by a networking lunch.
Agenda:
