Financial planners: Preparing for your succession and navigating your path (Session 1 of 2)
This is the first of two financial planning webinars, where Brian Hill and Zane Hunter discuss their experience in the field to simplify the exit and succession process for financial planning business owners and senior decision makers through education, guidance, and support. Their goal is to help business owners navigate this journey smoothly and avoid common pitfalls.
In these sessions, the speakers describe the exit landscape, unmasking the various types of acquirers, their aspirations and how objectives can be aligned. They provide guidance on how business values are defined and how, through the power of data, that value can be maximised. They also provide insight into the art of an equitable deal, demystify the due diligence process and how to move forward to a successful completion and, ultimately, towards succession and exit.
Learning objectives:
- Understanding the exit path: An overview of the entire journey, from planning the sale to a successful completion
- How to prepare your business for a smooth exit
- What are the factors affecting business value during the exit process
Please register here for the second part of this webinar, which will be on 13 November.
