A regulator's response to a fatal aviation accident
In this IIL aviation webinar, Kate Staples explains how the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) responded to a serious fatal aviation accident, offering insights into regulatory thinking and practice that will be of interest to insurance professionals.
In August 2015, there was an accident at the Shoreham Air Show. Eleven people died and the Coroner’s inquest into those deaths started at the end of November 2022. In the years since the accident, there have been many strands of work that the UK CAA and others have addressed. In this webinar, the speaker offers an insider’s view of the regulator’s response to this fatal aviation accident.
