Avoiding claims for discrimination in recruitment
In this IIL webinar, Kate Roberts talks about the risk of discrimination claims in the context of recruitment and provides practical tips on how to avoid the pitfalls.
The Equality Act 2010 makes discrimination and harassment unlawful in relation to nine ‘protected characteristics’ and prohibits discrimination, harassment, and victimisation at all stages and in all aspects of the employment relationship.
This webinar focuses on the key question of what amounts to unlawful discrimination in recruitment; the consequences of getting it wrong and what proactive steps can be taken to ensure a fair recruitment process and minimise the risk of claims.
