In this IIL inclusion & diversity webinar, Andy Wolfe and Juliet Hardingham facilitated an interactive session on the choices leaders can make in response to the change curve, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this session, members were given an insight on the impact of COVID-19 on employee wellbeing and resilience.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals and organisations have recognised the need for mindsets, mental health, and resilience support. However, recent data from the latest Kantar Global Impact Study – COVID-19 has highlighted that against a backdrop of enduring months of lockdown, changing restrictions and multiple waves of COVID-19, perceptions of wellbeing and health are at record lows in the UK and other countries across the world.

For leaders and employees to continue to navigate through this significant period of change, the speakers will look to explore six different types of mindset development and support that are all in demand and required by leaders and employees alike. These range from leadership and team care, wellness and wellbeing, resilience, growth mindset, thriving under pressure, and high performing teams’ mindset.

A full outline of the different stages of the change curve was shared, and how leaders need to target their teams with the right solution at the right time.

By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:

  • Greater awareness of the leadership frameworks and how to apply to manage the turmoil of change perpetuated by COVID-19
  • Understanding how to choose the most appropriate leadership mindset to adapt to what teams need to develop and support workplace resilience
  • Opportunity to learn and share best leadership practices through the different cycles of the change curve
