In this IIL claims webinar, Chris Buesnel talked about the challenges in handling claims involving historic buildings and the practical matters to be considered.

In this session the speaker drew on his experience to discuss practical issues that can be encountered when considering insurance of historic buildings and the specific requirements and challenges that can arise in the subsequent claim environment.

By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:

  • Understanding the protections in place associated with historic buildings including ancient monuments with reference to the statute law and resultant responsibilities that such properties attract
  • To understand factors that will need to be taken into consideration in the insurance of historic buildings
  • Specific considerations that arise when considering losses associated with historic buildings
