Visit to Thatcham Research
In this educational visit, attendees will take look a behind the scenes at Thatcham Research operations as it works to contain the cost of motor insurance claims by driving safety, security and repair standards.
Thatcham Research is the automotive risk intelligence company dedicated to understanding the opportunities and challenges of new vehicle technology and identifying the best strategies for its safe, secure, and sustainable adoption.
This educational visit includes presentations on various core research topics, such as security, repair, vehicle risk and new vehicle technology. Attendees will also get the opportunity to tour the Repair Technology Centre and the Passive Safety Lab, so they can witness first-hand the dedicated research that is undertaken.
Learning objectives:
- An insight into the dynamically evolving nature of vehicle risk, security, repair and new vehicle technology
- An overview of the passive safety lab and the role it plays in Euro NCAP impact testing
- An understanding of key areas of Thatcham Research's influence within the motor insurance industry
Refreshments and lunch will be provided (please advise of any dietary requirements when booking).
Attendees will be required to make their own travel arrangements to/from Thatcham Research (nearest station - Thatcham).
Places on visits are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
A fee will be charged for all visits. Visit fees are non-refunded if cancelled.
