Mastering Mixed Assessment for General Insurance CII Diploma units
In this IIL revision seminar, Alison Cooper shares her considerable knowledge and experience to provide guidance to candidates to help master the CII Diploma units, with a focus on multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and coursework. These insights have been gained primarily from her experiences as a CII Senior Examiner and Marker.
In this presentation, Alison explains that with Mixed Assessment, a different approach to studying is needed by CII candidates. Mixed Assessment requires candidates to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge in the multiple-choice exam and their practical knowledge/experience in the coursework component. The presentation highlights an effective approach to CII studies including:
- How to master the syllabus and focus on learning objectives
- How to prepare for the MCQ exam and remote invigilation
- How to deconstruct coursework questions
- How to plan your written answers to maximise marks.
Learning objectives:
- Focusing on the syllabus and learning objectives
- Understanding how to deconstruct coursework questions
- Planning your coursework answers
