    • Reg Brown LLB, FCII (Former IIL & CII President), Chair, Insurance Museum
    • Jonathan Squirrell, Project Manager, Insurance Museum
  • London Market

In this IIL London Market lecture Reg Brown and Jonathan Squirrell explained why our insurance heritage has so much value in supporting a stronger future for the insurance markets.

Reg and Jonathan gave an introduction to the Insurance Museum, the themes it will explore and an update on its progress. Finally, they explained how to become involved and support the Insurance Museum Initiative (I'M IN).

In their presentations, Reg and Jonathan explained how the Insurance Museum will capture and share the valuable heritage of insurance, including its social good and provenance, exploring the themes of what insurance enables (past, present and future) and the evolution of the sector. It will also act as a way of attracting new talent to the sector by demonstrating the breadth of career paths available.

By the end of this lecture members would have gained an insight into
