RADA 'Communicating with Skill' taster session
The Insurance Institute of London (IIL) has teamed up with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to provide a taster communications workshop session to enable members to develop their communication skills in the workplace.
Performing brilliantly at work involves more than just technical expertise; it requires excellent communication skills. In this interactive taster workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore what type of communicator they are and the type of communicator they could become.
By examining the power of the three tools of communication - the body, breath and voice, participants will obtain an introduction to tools and techniques to come across and communicate with greater presence, clarity and impact in a variety of workplace scenarios.
Please note this interactive session is a significantly abridged version of the RADA full 'Communicating with skill' workshop.
By the end of this masterclass, members will have an introduction to:
- Different personal communication styles
- Creating an enhanced physical and vocal presence
- Learning how to understand different behaviour types
- New strategies for building a rapport and having effective conversations with others.
Chair:
Tali Shlomo, People Engagement Director, Chartered Insurance Institute.
Abi Eniola, Communications Skills Coach
