Less is more for strong market oversight at Lloyd's
In this IIL London Market lecture Jon Hancock defined performance management and oversight in the Lloyd's context, and set out what good looks like and showed how a light but strong touch prudential regulatory regimes at national and international levels are essential the if the true value of insurance is to be realised.
Good market oversight should:
- Provide a secure capital environment for investors
- Deliver consistent performance
- Enhance the Lloyd's brand

Speakers Bio:
Jon Hancock joined Lloyd's as Performance Manager Director in December 2016 following a 30 year career in the industry in the UK and overseas. At Lloyd's he has responsibility for performance management, capital setting and risk management in the Market.
