In this IIL lecture Andrew Kendrick considered if the London Market is at a crossroads by looking at topical issues including: market conditions, digital disruption, diversity and talent and Brexit and its possible impact.

With the market facing many challenges including regulatory intervention, ongoing soft conditions, Brexit and its potential implications, how to attract a new generation of diverse talent, not to mention InsureTech and digital disruptors circling, this lecture will consider what the future might hold for the London Market, as well as look to the past to see what lessons can be learnt.

By the end of this lecture members would have gained an insight into:

  • Challenges facing the London Market
  • What steps can be taken to meet the challenges
  • Issues to consider for the year ahead

Speakers Bio:
A senior and well-known figure in the London Market and European insurance industry, with over 30 years' experience. In addition to his management responsibilities at Chubb, he is a Director of the LMA and a member of the LMG board.

Registration closes at 12pm two working days before the event date
For events held in The Old Library, Lloyd's pass holders may also attend and do not need to register
