Jonathan described how governments and security forces are struggling to contain a pervasive wave of terrorism that has affected an ever-growing list of countries including amongst many others France, Germany, Belgium and Turkey. He explained that many factors are at play as part of this wider trend – such as how the conflict in Syria is impacting the terrorism threat in Europe and the diversifying ‘home-grown’ terrorism threat.
