In this IIL reinsurance lecture Bronek Masojada talked about how insurers can up their game on attracting talent, how individuals can manage their careers more effectively.
In his presentation, Bronek gave his perspective as a CEO on how firms can attract more talent into insurance, how he has seen individuals manage their careers to maximize their success on their own terms, and how firms can provide an environment in which top talent can succeed.
By the end of this lecture members would have gained an insight into:
- How firms and individuals can play a role in attracting talent to the market
- How individuals can take active steps to maximize the success of their own careers
- How firms should think about retaining and challenging their best talent
Speakers Bio:
Bronek joined Hiscox in 1993 as Group Managing Director and was appointed Chief Executive in 2000. From 1989 to 1993 he was employed by McKinsey and Co. Bronek served a a Deputy Chairman of Lloyd's from 2001 to 2007. Bronek is a board members of the Association of British Insurers and a Non Executive Director of Pool Re. He is a Past President of the Insurance Institute of London and a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Insurers.

For events held in The Old Library, Lloyd's pass holders may also attend and do not need to register

- Attendance confirmations are non-transferable to any other person or lecture
- All venues have limited capacity and registration and/or a Lloyd's pass does not guarantee admission
