THE BIG WALK FRIDAY 31 JANUARY 2020

We had an idea for our members companies to do a cake and bake sale this week and as an added extra a number of us would walk to these offices throughout Friday culminating at the Animal Shelter to hand over our collection tins etc

Some of my council members are taking part being Chelsea Sparey and Zoe Davis from Ecclesiastical and Toby Mills and Tom Quick from Brunsdon.

We are starting at Brunsdon Quedgeley at 945am then into Gloucester to see Ecclesiastical and PRO then over to Brockworth to see Ageas and Armour Risk Management and then down Shurdington Road to THB and then to the Animal Shelter arriving 4pm

We are all in yellow bibs with buckets so cannot miss us. We are picking up a friend of mine Allen Prior at Brockworth who has been doing his own walking fund raising for Gloucester Choral Society with whom he sings as it is their 175th Anniversary this year. Allen is a Past President of the Institute.

At 130pm we will be live on BBC Radio Gloucestershire speaking with Dominic Cotter!

So far since May I have raised £1308 in my Just Giving account and have done volunteer days with colleagues at the Animal Shelter as well as collecting food and blankets for them via our members in December.
