A BUSINESS AND CHARITY UPDATE FROM OUR CHARITY CHELTENHAM ANIMAL SHELTER

We are seeing a steady stream of animals coming into the shelter either as a stray or signed over to us due to people’s circumstances changing and unable to care for their pet. We are expecting an increase of animals needing us to help find them another home this coming Autumn when people are set to return to work after being furloughed, realising the animal they brought during lockdown isn’t suited to their busy working life.

Our businesses that help fund the rescue, like many were affected by lockdown but I am happy to say majority of them are doing well.

Our Charity shop since re-opening has taken around £8000, CAS Vets have also seen an increase in cliental but unfortunately, due to the current climate our boarding and grooming parlour haven’t seen the usual number of customers for this time of year.

We are still unable to attend or host community fundraising events, so rely on the generosity of animal lovers, like yourselves, to support us in other ways.

With Halloween up and coming next month and probably unable to have a party how about hosting an in-house fundraiser with your work team - a best pumpkin carving competition or best decorated Halloween house.

After the success of our on-line open day event in July we have made the decision to do it again for Christmas. Launching at the start of November our dedicated webpage will have a range of festive themed fun for all to see and get involved with. There will be a pet show photo competition, a raffle and on-line shop.

To help make the event a success we are seeking event sponsors.

For £100 you can sponsor one of our six pet show classes. In return we will promote your company on the webpage and via social media.

For £300 you can sponsor our Christmas cards. In return we will promote your company as well as print your logo on the cards.

For £500 you can sponsor our 2021 calendar. In return we will again promote your company as well as print your logo on the calendar.
