PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE..OCTOBER 2019
Your monthly update is a little later than usual due to a bit of work upheavel and a little Spanish sun but here we go!
Firstly,fingers crossed to all members who took written exams in October, thanks to the inviligators who make it possible and continued good luck to those who take exams all year round. I am delighted to say 345 papers have been passed in the January-July period,some of which resulted in the following qualifications for our PFS/CII members

More events continued to be booked in and in reality we are starting to plan for 2020-21 Education year which starts next May. If you have ideas or wish to present an event yourself,please contact your Education Programme Leader,Tim Chandler
47 lucky ticket holders enjoyed a night at the theatre as The Lion King premiered at The Bristol Hippodrome and 83 tickets are currently being distribured for the Christmas Pantomime. Your next S&S event is Winter Market drinks in Gloucester Quays (Dr Fosters) on Friday 29th November and for 2020,a male and female 5 a side football night,the quiz and a trip to Highgrove House are all in planning.
Charity awareness continues to be at the fore of our thoughts and we will soon be distributing items for collection which the Cheltenham Animal Shelter are seeking and will be helping Gloucester Foodbank again in January 2020. Our cake bake has a new date of the week commencing 27th January but with the added bonus that members of IICG New Gen and me will be walking from Gloucester to Cheltenham on the Friday stopping at selected offices/pubs to collect your takings.
