Bournemouth University Graduate and Placements Fair

The Insurance Institute of Bournemouth represented the Chartered Insurance Institute at the Bournemouth University Graduate and Placements Fair. IIB President, Alan Boyce was joined on the stand by Jonny Muncer, a graduate now working in the HR and Compliance Department at local insurance brokers, Alan & Thomas along with Kevin Forbes, Regional Chairman of the Hampshire & Dorset PFS and Matt Cheek from Henderson.

Students were able to talk to the team about careers in the insurance and financial services industries as well as talking about their hopes for finding local work placements. The IIB has a strong relationship with Bournemouth University and has for a number of years funded an annual prize for its first year Business Studies students who undertake a project on an insurance related subject.
