Communicating with Emotional Intelligence - 21 February 2020 12.00-15.30
Overview
The concept of Emotional Intelligence (EI) has been around for many years however the definition, implication and application may not be so easy and obvious to many people. We are conscious that it forms a key part of our behaviours yet not always sure how.
This half-day session gives you the opportunity to take a step back to consider and reflect on the principles of Personal Intelligence (Self) and Interpersonal Intelligence (Others). During the day you will have the opportunity to work with the three areas of personal mindset, self-awareness and developing own performance/building relationships.
The style of the session will be interactive, thought provoking and practical enabling the learning to be transferred into the working environment.

By the end of the programme you will be able to:
- State the principles of Emotional Intelligence (EI)
- Explored aspects of the concept and framework
- Understand the impact of EI on yourself and others
- Consciously use EI in day to day communication
