CGI cyber escape experience
Do you have what it takes to beat the CGI Cyber Escape experience?
Most people try to do the right thing when it comes to cyber security but may not know what to look out for or fully understand their own cyber responsibility and the consequences of not following guidelines. This means malware and phishing attacks remain a significant challenge to many organisations.
The CGI cyber escape experience takes place inside a shipping container and each session is up to 60 minutes for a maximum of 4 people, all guided by a cyber-security games master.
Teams work together to discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish cyber-related tasks to progress and 'escape' within the time allowed.
In CGI cyber escape, teams have a designated time to look for clues, solve puzzles and decipher riddles to earn their escape, all while learning potential cyber security risks, how to keep information and assets safe and reduce the impact of a cyber-attack.
Upon successful 'escape', participants will receive a handout with the learning outcomes, further information on security and an escape certificate.
Learning objectives:
- Understand human factors that can cause weakness in IT systems and ways to minimise risk
- Learn about phishing and its impact on organisations
- Learn about password security and the importance of a good password
- Understand what to do if a cyber-attack happens and how to minimise damage to an organisation
Attendees will be required to make their own travel arrangements to/from Stratford Station. A free, public, shuttle bus will be available for onward travel to Here East.
The health and safety of members and their guests is our priority as we return to face-to-face events. Attendees are encouraged to take a lateral flow test prior to the event date.
Please do not attend if you receive a positive test result or have any Covid symptoms.
